In the last couple of months we have experienced a lot!

Update on the kiddo:
     Jeremiah is now assisted walking. Another wards he is using our couches, chairs, playpen, toys or anything else that he can grab onto as a walker. And his little walker that we go him he flips it over and does nothing else. Oh well.
     He is also eating everything! What a little piggy! I love him so much though and watching him grow is just crazy! Along with eating and trying to walk(almost there I give him a couple weeks) he is also talking! He says moma, dada, baba and what we think to be "go make me some food" blabeeebaaa...

Update on Mr Bradley:
     HE MADE STAFF!!! He didn't think he would but I'm just so proud of him!!!

And he got a "new" car!!!

Summer?

Well it's the middle of May! And in most parts of the United States spring/summer has arrived. I've enjoyed seeing everyone's photos of the beach, flowers, sun dresses and so on.
But here in Las Vegas... well it's been drery and cold and rainy. I LOVE IT!!!
Maybe some moisture will get into the air and I can stop having bloody noses!!!

Anyways! Update with Mr Jerm...

He's sitting up, eating food like a pro and growling at everyone! And today he attempted to crawl and kinda did! So proud of my little gummy bear!
I fell asleep with him on his couch tonight. It was so sweet!


We finally found some drapes. They are going up tomorrow, they are in the washer(I hate that store smell)
I am going to be making some valences to go with them also. One less project to worry about.

Well I'm finally tired! Off to bed!!!

A Tooth

"It helps with the pain"

 Well Jeremiah has been teething for some time... and about a week ago his first tooth popped through! So cute! He won't let us take a photo yet because the other is still breaking way but he has his momma's pain tolerance for sure! He has not really needed anything. We have given him small amounts of Tylenol and Orajel but that is it.
So proud of our chunker!!

Our little man was dedicated last Sunday the 1st of May at church! We almost didn't make it because we forgot to get gas the night before but it was lovely! So happy to be apart of this church family and we can't wait to get to know more people and try to make Nevada more of a home than a prison.

He's teething.. and not happy about it.

So tomorrow is Saturday, and Brad, Jeremiah, Myself and the pups are going to the park!! Then we are going to go sample some wine at a local wine store after a quick shopping trip. Hopefully its not too hot. If it is we may just stay home, so hopefully not! Sunday is mother's day and we hope that all our cards get to everyone in a timely manor aka tomorrow!

 Yeah so I definitely was having some problems with tonight's blog involving the photos but anywho enjoy the ones that I was able to get up on the blog. I'm going to make a video of some of his videos to put on here its just taking a lot longer than anticipated.

Diapers, spiders and housekeeping...

We have been testing out diapers lately... Sick of paying an arm and a leg if I can get the same quality for cheaper. I still want to do cloth but... hubby won't change a cloth diaper even though it will save us money and it's better for the environment etc.

First we had Pampers Swaddlers... they are great! Super soft, holds in (almost) everything except the beloved blowouts. They overall are my favorite! Too bad they stop at 2s in the stores. I have not found 3s in the stores yet.
We have tried Luvs, which I believe if you don't have a heavy pee'er... are great. Jeremiah pees so much and it smells(don't worry we asked the dr he's hydrated and healthy he just has stinky pee sometimes and is very gassy)
And we tried Huggies at the beginning. I don't really feel confident in them  all. Every time we would put one on him when he was first born he would pee out or blowout!!! Ugh!!
Oh and Target. Okay I would only buy target diapers if we had no money and couldn't put it on credit. I would rather buy Huggies!!!
So now we are back to Pampers, not swaddlers though but Crusers and Baby Dry...

I really wish he would just let me switch... It would be so much easier. Just pick the color and the size... tada!!!

Anyways...

Camel Spider... GROSS!!!

So Brad was taking the dogs out for a walk this morning. And for some reason he was kicking around rocks... Well while he was kicking around some rocks he woke a Camel Spider... who then chased after Mosley. Oh man. I didn't think I could really hate Nevada anymore than I already did and I was wrong. Oh well!

Well housework is proving to be difficult. Jeremiah's swing is on it's last leg and well we aren't going to buy a new one just for the next couple months. And thankfully, we didn't buy this one either. Just fine with me!

Jeremiah's Tent

So I came up with a great idea. Or so I thought... Jeremiah will sleep all night in his crib but not during the day so I made a tent for Jeremiah to sleep under. I thought it was a great idea, I put him down for his nap in his normal clothes, he fell asleep within mins, only to wake a half an hour later with a puddle of sweat under his little head... poor little guy... :(  
Well now Jeremiah is watching me type and watching Veggie Tales... He's got the life! :)

Our little guy is getting soooo big, and way too quickly!
He's eating baby food, and learning to drink from a sippy cup. He is trying to crawl and is doing pretty good at holding himself up to sit!
It's amazing that every morning we go in to wake him up for his breakfast and he looks a little bit older!

In other news...
I'm looking for a job, something to get me out of the house for a couple hours a week. Nothing big. Maybe just a retail position and put the money away for a trip back home or whatnot.

Brad and I have made a few friends here. We are starting game night with a chaplain's family and then a nice group of mommies here in Vegas have invited me into their group. I'm very excited to meet them this coming weekend! And I'm making Gram's Baked Beans!!

Sure are missing family and friends right now. More than ever before. I need time away from the house to just relax with Brad. I don't trust anyone to watch Jeremiah so I go out for a little while, while I go to the store for an hour.
Praying we make some friends soon. Friends who will be willing to watch Jeremiah for a night so I can enjoy spending some time with hubby.
Other than that, the last two days have been hard. I haven't been wanting to get out of bed again. I have so much housework to catch up on. I guess that's what I get... for what I don't know but whatever.

Well Brad will be home very soon, getting ready to go and get rid of Savannah. We really love her but she attracts too many bugs because of the desert.

80* in March??

Hello family and friends! What is up with our weather out here... it's so weird. First we didn't get to celebrate Christmas the way we normally do(tree, lights, hot cocoa, and.. snow. duh) so we are still messed up on the time of the year and now it's March and it's 80* I shouldn't be complaining but I know that these 80* days will soon be 120* days.
I know that the Lord has a plan for us and that is why we are here. But come on?! I like summer but not all year round! lol
So unofficially I can't wait for winter haha! Can't wait for Jeremiah's "first" real Christmas. Unpacking boxes and living around boxes was not Christmas. I kinda wish we lived back in DC at least the heat was only for a couple of months. Okay enough complaining...

Other news! I am getting close to my goal weight! I have about 30ish lbs left to loose! I'm officially at my pre-baby weight and now I'm working towards the goal for my weight that I was working on right before I found out I was pregnant!
All of this breast feeding has gotten me this far and is the best thing possible for Jeremiah!

I'm starting Yoga today so the rest of the weight should just drop! I haven't done anything really up to this point. So I'm praying that I stick with this. I can do it at home, no need to go to the gym. I have enough room, and I can do it with Jeremiah awake or asleep. It doesn't matter. I can actually include him in it too! Love it! I can't wait to do it after my load of laundry is done!
 I'm excited for my excersise today and also for lunch! I'm making delish turkey cheese wraps with fruit salad! Yummmy!!!

Oh super cool thing happened yesterday, I went on  tour and got to see some pretty nifty planes that the Air Force fly's! I took some photos and got to watch the first air show of the season!
Well I have to go! Laundry is done, that means YOGA TIME!!!
