80* in March??

Hello family and friends! What is up with our weather out here... it's so weird. First we didn't get to celebrate Christmas the way we normally do(tree, lights, hot cocoa, and.. snow. duh) so we are still messed up on the time of the year and now it's March and it's 80* I shouldn't be complaining but I know that these 80* days will soon be 120* days.
I know that the Lord has a plan for us and that is why we are here. But come on?! I like summer but not all year round! lol
So unofficially I can't wait for winter haha! Can't wait for Jeremiah's "first" real Christmas. Unpacking boxes and living around boxes was not Christmas. I kinda wish we lived back in DC at least the heat was only for a couple of months. Okay enough complaining...

Other news! I am getting close to my goal weight! I have about 30ish lbs left to loose! I'm officially at my pre-baby weight and now I'm working towards the goal for my weight that I was working on right before I found out I was pregnant!
All of this breast feeding has gotten me this far and is the best thing possible for Jeremiah!

                      Win Win!!!

I'm starting Yoga today so the rest of the weight should just drop! I haven't done anything really up to this point. So I'm praying that I stick with this. I can do it at home, no need to go to the gym. I have enough room, and I can do it with Jeremiah awake or asleep. It doesn't matter. I can actually include him in it too! Love it! I can't wait to do it after my load of laundry is done!myspace comments
I'm excited for my excersise today and also for lunch! I'm making delish turkey cheese wraps with fruit salad! Yummmy!!!

Oh super cool thing happened yesterday, I went on  tour and got to see some pretty nifty planes that the Air Force fly's! I took some photos and got to watch the first air show of the season!
Well I have to go! Laundry is done, that means YOGA TIME!!!
God bless ya'll!!

I'm Expecting!!

Well Brad and I, although not Catholic, have decided to fast for lent. Brad started on Ash Wensday and had a very long list and me... well I'm starting this coming Monday(as in tomorrow).
F.R.O.G.
We have decided to better ourselves by removing ungodly things from our home.
Today we went through our DVD collection and threw out any DVDs that we thought would bring us back to where we have been. We want to be a Christ following family. A Christian family that Fully Relies On God!
We want our home to be warm and inviting to those whom are not christians and those whom are. No matter their faith we want them to feel at home within our home.
So we are "deleting everything bad from our lives. We are going to bless our home and we are starting fresh.

A few questions I know you may be asking:
  • Why now?
    • Well to be perfectly honest, why not now? We have a beautiful baby boy who is growing up in a terrible society, and who needs to have the security of our Lord with him at all times no matter his age. I can't speak for Brad but I know he feels the same way. We should have done this before I was pregnant. We should have been doing this before we where married. We where late so we are doing it now.
  • What are you going to be doing?
    • We are re-dedicating our lives to the Lord. We want a relationship with him that is above any other here on earth
    •  We are removing things from our lives that are unholy and that do not help us with our walk with God
The one thing that I am giving up for lent is Facebook. Most likely that is one of the only reasons you are here reading this. And if you actually read this far you will now know that my "I'm Expecting" update was just a attention grabber.
I will be back on facebook after 10 days, but not to the extent that I have been recently.
I found myself on my phone after midnight(I got into my bed around 11pm) and I was looking at everyone's updates and I asked myself...    "Why am I still online? What is so interesting about someone's life that I need to know where they ate that day and what new something they bought was."

Then it hit me "I have a problem with facebook" Instead of staying on fb for hours on end I should be reading my Bible, finishing laundry, playing with my adorable son(Don't worry I already do this a ton but come on he's a cutie and could use more than 8 hours a day of mommy time!), playing with the pups, exercising, trying a new recipe, etc.
So that is it! Bye bye facebook for 10 days at least. If I can't do 10 days then I'm deleteing my facebook altogether. Starting over fresh like a new baby... (hence the "I'm expecting")
I will be updating on here, I also realized that I have been niglecting this blogg, I made it so that family and friends would be able to see what we are doing and watch Jeremiah growing... I haven't been doing that and I really need to

Finally!

So after months of trying to figure this blog thing out I have got it! hehe... One of my new years resolutions was to keep our family updated on our life out here in NV. I wanted to do that on here, that way they can come online and check out what we are up to rather than try to call and most likely miss them or interrupt dinner or wake them up. (stupid west coast)

I have lost a total of 50+lbs from my pregnancy. 40 more left! All of this weight loss is thanks to a better diet and Breast feeding!! I am so thrilled that I have lost so much! Now the real task begins: working out or more like... making time to work out! So happy we have a pool at our complex, and in a couple weeks I will be going out there to get a hour a night workout along with going on the elliptical for 30 mins!

My little lover boy

"Standing" in his crib

Oh man... He didn't want to go to bed.
Update on Jeremiah, he is 15lbs! And in the 75% overall of his age group! I love my boy!

So our new suv... Brad hates it. I love it, but it doesn't have enough room. But we did get out of the high apr from the Camry and got a brand new car along with enough space for the dogs in the back when we drive. Overall I think it was a good purchase, when it gets paid off I'm getting a bigger suv though or a mini van pimped out...
Rims, and lowered... Fiber carbon hood

Love this!!!
Yeah that's a tv in there...

I would never want to get out!
I just had wayyy to much fun looking up those photos. Hahaha!
I hope you enjoyed today's post! I had a blast writing and updating you all! Tomorrow I'm going to upload videos! Yesss!!

Off to make my spicy manicotti and some homemade vanilla butter bread! Yummmy!

3 Months Already??

It has been three months since our little man was born! He was weighed Tuesday and he now is at 14lbs 17oz and 25.5in!! God is good!! And as I type this he is chilling out in his little bounce chair relaxing telling me about his day!

In that time we have battled with two types of infections for myself, dealt with him not wanting to nurse, packing up our home, flying by myself with a newborn, Brad driving across country with two dogs and a full car, living in temporary housing that smelled like wet dog for a week, and moving into our new home.

Sure a lot to deal with in only a couple months!

On the plus side... God has brought us through with flying colors! And we are doing good out here, we even got a new SUV with a very very low interest rate, so much better than the Toyota!!

We are all doing very well!! And we just wanted to update you all! Love yous!!!

Pregnancy!!!

Okay I want to rant!

Pregnancy tips for the husband (and any other male):

* raspberries & milk are love when you are hungery but not hungery enough for a full meal
* when the dog smells to the preggy wash it, or she shall vomit
* "please go away" or I will fight you and wave my taser in your face
(when taser not available gun may be used)
* don't by any means in the mist of an argument tell me that my hormones are acting up again, you WILL die
* I will eat as I please, so stop telling me not to eat what I'm eating when I'm eating, either I'll do it now or snack on something when your not looking that will be a lot worse than what I first wanted
* you are not pregnant, stop using me as an excuse for your mess ups (including being late or wanting a day off from work to "bring me to the dr")
* back massages are gold, please offer one at least once per day, I mean come on we are carrying your child.
* housework is hard enough as it is when we aren't pregnant, clean up after yourself and help with chores in the house it's a nice gesture and it's helpful
* if it's summer and your hot, most likely we are 10,000* warmer than you are so don't have the windows down when it is 100+ outside are you out of your mind???
* ask to help if you don't your just mean
* go to appointments with us and don't make a big fuss out of it, it's not fun for us it's like you going to the dr every week for 9 months before pushing a golf ball out of you know what so please be considerate

Ehhhh... going to bed.

We are 36 weeks 37 on Monday. The baby is doing well, kicking away like crazy and crushing my bladder just like the first trimester. Pictures to come!
Can't wait for him to come and for us to be parents!
Also ready for our big move so he can have his own room and I can have fun painting!
We are currently looking for one of those big rugs that have the roads and houses to put in his room if you see any online that are a good price please call message etc!
We would love to have one in his room! They are just so cool!

Well once again going to bed... God bless you all!

Wow...

So I have come to the conclusion that I have no freaking idea how to use this blog. If anyone would like to help me out here please call me! PLEASE!!!

So anyways, as most of you know we are having a little BOY!! And thankfully a year after birth this one will hopefully be able to speak somewhat unlike our other little boy whom just peed at my feet all of 10 mins ago.
So the scoop on the new little bundle of joy... he makes mommy have to go to the bathroom a lot, he also makes me very tired, very hungry, and when I'm sleeping wakes me up at 4 in the morning... maybe this is God's way of preparing me?
So we know our new base, the baby shower was great thank you Aunt Judy and Aunt Jan and also Gram for throwing us that lovely shower (I wish it wasn't so hot though I was exhausted!), Brad is now in tech school till the end of August, I'm finding tons of things to do and my little projects are taking up a lot of time!
Bradley at Tech School

So if this isn't perfect to represent Bradley at tech school I don't know what is!
He seems like he's doing well. He's only been there since Sunday (July 19th), he lets me know everyday that he doesn't like school and that he's tired.
I'll be sending him a little care package in a week or so. We'll see how that helps!

Well Mosley and Maggie are doing well too! I know how much everyone loves them! I'll be adding a video and some photos of the two of them in the next day or so. Please be looking for that update!

Well I'm off to enjoy the night by myself! Roomate is out for the night so that means.... LAUNDRY ALL NIGHT!! haha so much fun. lol

Night Ya'll! God bless and hope to hear from you soon!!!
